I love the EL light strip. Is it just the pictures, or is the battery box for the EL strip pretty big? Does it fit inside the helmet while wearing it?

The power pack for the light CANNOT be worn inside the helmet while you are wearing it, you tuck it down your costume to hide it somewhere else. The cord can be lengthened to clip it to your belt or something. While on display I velcro mine inside the helmet.

An e-lite strip from e-lite technologies. It's a thin flat strip that's 3/4 x7" long powered by a 9 volt. I get them from e-lite, my contact is Mike Jacovino, 203-371-2070 ext 17. They are $25 plus $15 shipping. Tell him I referred you and you're looking for the iron man light and he'll know what you want. Also remind him to make the cord 36" so you can clip the power supply to your belt or something.

Yes, only the strip is not see through. You have to leave a gap underneath to see out of. If done right you hardly notice the gap below the light strip and eye opening, and still have pretty good vision.
