Cheap, Fast Star Wars Costume?

Star Wars in concert is coming nov. 1st which is amazing and me and my friend want to dress up so i wanted a cheap, fast, and fairly SA star wars costume. pretty much any costume is good. anyone have any ideas?

The cheapest and most SA you can get is going to be costumebase Han Solo with some modifications by a tailor and some costume boots. If you bargain with CB you can get the price of the whole costume down pretty low (probably just over $100 including gun belt) and if you know a good tailor and use the Captain-100 boots from Amazon.com you can probably get a whole costume together for roughly $250 in about 3 weeks time.

Cheapest you could do would probably be a hooded jedi, you just need a robe and boots. Second option would be either Rebel or Imperial tech, either way it's a coverall with some added greeblies. Anything else will require at least some work/money/time to make.

There are lots of fiddly details on the Solo costume...the belt is the hardest, as the cheapest alternative is the costumebase one that apparently is kinda poor and probably not something you'd ever want to wear again.

If I had to do SW on a tight budget, I'd definately go for dark clothes, get a robe from the halloween store, and a $10 lightsabre from target. Maybe repaint/weather the sabre to make it looks less like a toy. And for those that have them already, you could pop in the wild contact lenses and go for the Sith Anakin.

I'm not sure if they will let you into the concert dressed up. I know they are not allowing our 501st garrison to watch the concert in costume because they do not want us distracting people from the concert itself.

Same here with the Rebel Legion, no costumes will be allowed inside while the band is playing...
So if you go in costume, they will want to know if your apart of the 501st or Rebel Legion, if not you might not get in at all.
