Cena Predator remake?

Just saw a post about this on the moviehole site

Meanwhile, Cena wants Twentieth Century Fox to know he’s waiting for the call to do the ''Predator'' remake.

“Just to be a part of that team would be awesome”, Cena says of the 1987 film’s core cast of characters. “I’d be happy playing Governor Ventura’s character – the gum-chewing gun-toting [Blain].

Aparantly Fox are not intending to get him involved in a remake if they even decide to do it!
'Gum chewing?' has he seen Predator?

if they remake this film i think it would bomb.....
about the only thing that i would want to see is the work they will do with CGI and ofcourse the new pred costumes because i did hear that there will be more than one Pred in the film!
Not sure how true that is though
