Catch Me If You Can

Does anyone have paper props from this film ?

I'd especially like to see an old Pan Am ID card (it's ancient, and long obsolete of course so no security risk)

I noticed in the movie itself they skirted over how the real Frank Abagnale Jr made his ID cards, probably for good reasons :lol It's a good read though, in a time before PCs he had to use his printing skills for some and bare faced cheek (and a model areoplane kit) for others.

Kenny, did you check out the Propstore of London, they had or have a few paper props from this movie, I think even the Pan-Am ID.

I've just had a look Paul, but I can only see his passport Is there a way of searching old sales on there ?

I've wanted to make the wallet full of labels for a while now... Maybe I should do some searching. :)

I have a cheque from Pan-Am, not 100% acurate but ok for a quick job...

If someone can make an acurate cheque (with correct frame), that would be wonderful...

Inspired by this thread, I got to work! here are the results, this is the ID & Check I've done for my own collection, not 100% screen accurate but OK for a display all the same, I've used one of Abagnales real fake identities for the ID,:

I'm going to have a crack at the passport next I think:)

Is it possible to post high res pics?!?

I did this one about 7 years ago...

And dont say only one word? Who knows how many treasures are saved on your hard disc... :)

re:Is it possible to post high res pics?!?

I'm thinking of doing a 'FRANK PACK' run consisting of : Pan AM ID, check, passport,Doctors Cert & something else(Undecided) when I can, but I cant yet as I don't have enough posts for the junkyard:)

Carrying on from yesterday, I've worked like a demon for about a good many hours today.....Yes I've got a lot of time to kill for various reasons at the moment! (Dont ask!)
I wanted to get it as screen accurate as I could manage, fonts, spacing ect, and have finally finished! Hooraay! :lol
If you compare it to the one for sale at the prop store it's pretty close I think.
Not 100 % perfect but who cares!!
Now I'm going to have a rest:lol

Just a bump. If anyone has an image of a genuine 1960s Pan Am ID as well as the one from the movie, i'd love to see them.

Here's what i've came up with. I've kept as close to the actual prop ID cards as possible, including the actual photos which aren't that clear (if you have better photos please let me know).

Thanks to pauljones33 and BigDenny for emailing the Propstore ID images to me.

The old FAA licence is just something I did quickly.
