Anyone see this yet? Neat little prop, the pop up laser pointer is a nice touch. I've heard mixed things about the CAT TOYS IM helmet though.

Hmmm...not too bad. Might be a nice armor upgrade. Like most things, now I want a left AND a right gauntlet!

What was the US price point?

I'm waiting a good review by a "real" guy before make my decision and I will be very carefull with paint issues of this kind of work from Cattoys

This is a nice piece. I received mine today. It did have a few issues.
The wiring was connected wrong, had to replug in the harnesses to get them to function correctly. Once that was done, it worked great.
I am a medium to large hand size. Working my hand through the wrist section is TIGHT. Can do but definitely a real issue to get in since the arm section is one whole piece that does not open. You need long fingers to fit into this properly, stuff the finger tips of the gloves to extend them to the final finger parts. Odd given the rest of the unit is made for a medium to small arm and hand. The gold htop hand plate pops up and stays up. I am looking to add a spring clip to allow for movement but to bring it back down when it moves up.

Electronics are awesome. The laser pops up with the movement of one finger. You can easily press the button in the hand to light it up. Bring the wrist up and press/hold the hand button and you get the build up repulser light with a bright flash. The hand light is very bright, laser is a 50 to 100 watt green laser, you can see the beam in the day light.

Blindingly bright , toned this shot down to get the pic.
I would recommend a body glove for the arm. The laser turret section digs into your arm a bit when open, Use foam to re-enforce how it sits on your arm and to avoid inside section digging in when you move around in it.

This is a great buy and well worth it if you are thinking about one of these.
Ordered the helmet, will post when that arrives.

Picked up the Cattoys Mk 42 Helmet and happy with it. The mechanical function is sharp, face plate moves up and down perfectly. The light up eye section makes it very hard to see out of lit except in a well lit room. Unlit it's easy to see with. They give foam pads for the interior however I would suggest a harness or extra pads. It's a fairly large helmet given I wear medium to large hats. Quite roomy and comes with a remote for controlling the function with a touch of a button and a magnetic ring as well to swipe by the chin to open the face plate.
Paint quality is awesome and it does match up well to the Gauntlet they also sell. Two really super pieces to get if you are thinking about doing so.
The Cattoys version is slightly larger than the Roan helmet. For a smaller or medium sized head, the Roan piece would fit most people. I picked up the Roan arc reactor, which is a beautiful metal piece. That matches up to the film version extremely accurately as well the stand it comes with. Two modes of lighting, a steady bright light and pulsing light. The piece is thin enough to mount under a shirt for cosplay.

I have the Cat Toys Mark 42/43 Helmet and I'm very happy with it. I ordered the Gauntlet and it had some paint issues and just by wearing in once, the thing was coming apart. It's very flimsy. I contacted the seller and he shipped me out a replacement. The replacement had the exact same issues. I honestly don't think it's worth it.

I just ordered the Roan Iron Man helmet to compare with the Cattoys piece. Roan looks to be a little better quality and accurate, I will post when I get it to do a side by side comparison.
Cattoys is pumping out the Marvel items now and it seems they may be expanding on the Iron man items with a right side Gauntlet next.( It would be interesting to see if they eventually try a whole suit in the future ). I have been pretty happy with mine. I purchased an arm glove which works well and makes it easier to slide into the gauntlet than the supplied rubber nylon glove.

Very good little review! Thanks. Cattoys become a brand that I appreciate the products.
And, like me, have you seen some captain america helmets made by Cattoys on ebay and Aliexpress?
There's many helmets "handmade from China" since 2 weeks and, in the middle of this shore, I have seen "Cattoys captain america helmets" and I'm very curious about them cause they seems to be "more" occurate and the price seems to be honest.

I have seen the Captain America helmet piece but have not ordered one yet. Still waiting on ther Roan Iron man helmet, shipping with some Chinese sellers can be ultra slow, some fast. This is the first slow one I have had to deal with in a while.
I was wondering myself on the CA headpiece, given the potential sizing issues. They do look great on the auctions.

Yea, I'm very interessed by Captain helmet from Cattoys but I don't find any review by a "real" guy... and sizing issues makes me afraid too... I see they speak about 59 cm head diameter maximum and I'm 59...and I won't cut all my hair to wear this helmet :)

I see a battle damaged version on ebay. Does anyone know if this is a custom paint job or actually just an alternative version of the arm offered by Cattoys? It is not clear if the sellers are creating this look.

Since it's just one seller offering the alternative BD paintjob I'd say it's a custom job.

Then it's probably official. I can only see one seller offering this variant on ebay.fr but if there is more it's probably a factory paintjob.

I'm looking at 4 different eBay sellers offering the "battle damaged" or "realistic paint" version. Images vary and it is difficult to tell if this is a factory paint job or just someone doing it aftermarket. I am hoping someone has more concrete information than just a guess. I'd prefer to know if it has been altered or not before I buy one. Weathering or battle damage done poorly will not be good and I'd imagine returning to China is going to be difficult.

Maybe you can message the sellers directly then.
One thing though and I think it applies with anything Cattoys I would not expect a flawless paintjob, no matter the version you choose.

I've emailed all 4 sellers. We will see what they say.

i have this helmet, my head is between 59 and 60 cm, it is tight when putting it on but not bad once its on, for the price it is definitely great quality, the straps could be a little better but they're miles better than my cosplaysky cap helmet
