"Castle" just got a third season!

Cool! I haven't watched an episode, but I'm glad to hear they've been renewed. I've heard nothing but good things, and plan to get into this one.
 
Allright!!

I've been watching and thinking it keeps getting better and better.

Wow, just read in the link that monday's episode was the highest rated show ABC has had in that timeslot in 14 years.

They keep making them this good, we'll keep watching them!
 
Hooray! I've been getting this online as I'm in the UK (yeah I know it's now coming over here, but not on a channel I get). Glad to see a good show actually being renewed.
 
Love the show. My jaw was on the floor for the Halloween episode when he appeared dressed as Mal from Firefly for the first 8 minutes. Oh, and not to sound creepy and stalkery and stuff but the actress that plays his daughter is growing into being the most beautiful woman in Hollywood.
 
Agreed on all counts. The "policework" is a bit iffy at times, but that's not what the show's really about. Great writing and perfect casting. Stana Katic and Nathan Fillion have great chemistry, and Fillion and Molly Quinn make a believable father/daughter team.

I just hope they don't get into the whole "sexual tension" trap and have Beckett and Castle get into a romantic relationship; very few shows have been able to survive that.
 
Yeah, I was glad to hear this. Surprised as HELL this show was "on the bubble" of not being renewed. If anything, thats ABC's fault for the low(er) rating, I love the show but watching the same episodes 2-3 weeks in a row was getting old. Kinda killed my mondays, I'd be like "sweet, Castle's on" to my wife, and then we'd sit down and its one we've already seen twice . . .

yeah, one of my good friends just got picked up to be on the show, I'm not sure if it'll be a regular gig for him but it'll be cool to see him on tv again, he had a regular role on Veronica Mars.

Big Castle Fan mostly due to the fun writing. Looks like next week might be a little Indy homage.
 
fantastic!

i love that they work in geeky references for nathan fillion's personal fans, but not so much that it will overwhelm the mainstream audience.

"i was aiming for his head", the whole space cowboy / didn't you wear that a few years ago? thing... subtle but awesome.

Don't think it was really on the bubble if it got renewed in mid march. If you're on the bubble you're generally sweating it out until the network unveils it's fall schedule. I'm think fans were worried it was on the bubble though...
