Casting Latex in a Resin Mold?

What's up, guys! I was doing some research and found this super interesting method of making a mold: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U6EgeMAGulw.

They go on to do a casting with Platsil-Gel 25, foam fill it, etc. Needless to say, it turned out awesome! So my question is this- would I be able to cast liquid latex (instead of silicone) in a resin mold like this? I did call BITY and ask and the response was "Don't know, I've never tried it" lol. Anyone got a clue on here?

Thanks!

You can definitely cast latex in a non-porous mold, but you can't dwell it to a nice thickness. Instead, you stipple in thin layers, letting it dry between. If you're making masks, a stone mold is much more efficient, though it won't last as long.
