I decided that I was going to make a Casey Jones mask for my latest project, I documented some stuff along the way, can I share?

So I started by sculpting a base for the mast on a sculpting bust I have

I obviously am not the best sculptor, I covered the base sculpt in polyester resin and fiberglass so I could get back to a medium I am more familiar with...

Yup, creepy...

I then started building on top of the whole deal using strips of styrene, apex sculpt and bondo, I will let the photos speak for themselves.

Did I mention sanding?

After I had the shape I wanted, I was ready for that final primer...

A bit of trimming and it fits!

I trimmed down the forehead a little to make it more like the Original and gave it a paint up with filler primer and flat white Rustoleum

I also weathered it, the harness is from GoalieMonkey.com and is for an actual goalie helmet, I just needed to extend the over head strap.

I still need to do a proper photo shoot for it, but I hope you like it. :)

Yeah, great mask, looks very old school Turtle style. It deffo needs a really wild hairstyle to go with, IMO.
