Captain Scarlet Patrol Car (SPC)

Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons is a Gerry Anderson series from 1967. Set in 2068, Captain Scarlet presents the hostilities between Earth and a race of Martians known as the Mysterons.
The model is a IMAI plastic kit. scale isn't specified, but i'd guess about 1/30. The kit is extremely basic, only a body and four wheels with a spring-wind motor. Since i'm not making a clock, i discarded that for a straight metal axle. The kit doesn't come with an interior, so that's where i concentrated first. I made the dash and interior from sheet styrene, with seats and greebles from my spares.

Great build there! The scratch-built dash looks good for sure and adds to the overall appearance of the model (Captain Scarlett is one of my fav. Anderson's serie btw)

yes, i also have the SPV. looks like it needs the same full interior treatment.

Well done looks great!....I had the same model when I was a kid, but it was a darker metallic red, always loved the futurist shape for it's time.
