Captain Rex has a new helmet for season 4. I wonder why they didn't just give him a Phase II helmet like the ARC Troopers had last season?

To make him look unique. The roumer started by Dave Filoni at one of the discusions is that Rex doesn't like the look of the Phase 2 helmet so mods it.

Here's my costume - as far as I know this is the only one in the world at this time:
