Here is the final product. Fresh from Doctor Who. Captain Jack Harkness' compact laser deluxe. Here is the hero version with rising rear cowl and double barreled LED lighting. The flash sort of bleeds the LED's a bit. No sound. The wiring is simple. Two LED's wired to a (hand made and brilliantly clever) battery holder, with a push button switch under the cowl.
She has been rusted and weathered to look like the screen used piece.

Just for a second, I thought the weathering and rust was something else based on where Jack stored it, if you catch my drift.

I'm sure it could be. But not inexpensively.

You'd have to have it machined, and the set up for that would be pricey, but if you had a bunch of people go in for a run, the price would come down considerably.

This one is pretty damned cool.
