just had a look at the pouch design, wow I can't make head nor tail of that lol will have to show my mum, she does my sewing, see if she can figure it....
but looked better at what you have done up to now and I am REALLY liking it dude keep up the awesome work

It's a front and a back, the same size. It's a strip as wide as you want the pouches, the length of three sides of them. It's a slightly smaller front attached to the back at the top and bottom, for the belt to slide through.

Thanks, Briciius, it's from an independent comic from the 70's.
SDUK, here is the beginnings of the top. The hood will be attached, and the helmet pieces to that. Waiting to hear from my Etsey connection re: 5" maple leaf embroidery.

Onward and upward-ready to cut out the tights and sleeves, but first I have to fabric paint these little hexagons all over. Hence, the frog tape and fabric paint(dye sub was too expensive). Also, the gloves are red with white palms and thumbs, so gonna get creative here!

So, without using dye sub, I will be using fabric paint, but first, I have to mask off some parts. Here is what I've done in an hour-oy!

And here is the maple leaf ironed on to the sleeve!

And two hours later plus drying time, here is the back-one more, then the two fronts and the sleeves to go. Maybe dye sub wasn't so expensive after all!

The gloves are another bit of work-I had to dye one pair of cotton gloves red, then take the white pair apart and I will have to hand-sew the white onto the red!

Great work on the gloves mate! I wish I could do that sort of thing but its just not my department sewing etc lol...... Man I wish I could get back to the States for a con... and to do the Captains of the world pic would be epic! We will hav to try and get a good photoshop worker on it and bring us together digitally lol
