Captain Britain Helmet.

I've just finished up a new sculpt for a Captain Britain mask.

Sculpted in Klean Klay medium, moulded in silicone and cast using EasyFlow 120 from Mouldlife.

Thoughts, comments?

that's awesome. when i was a kid i made a captain britain mask out of grocery bags, duct tape, and spray paint. i've always wanted to go back and make a real one but never did.
where's the back though?
great job... i wanna see a pic of it on a person.

One of your best works.

+1
and just have to add:
...so far
(y)thumbsup

I love Captain Britain and this version is my favorite suit of his.

I wasn't kidding when you started working on your first mask and suit, if there is EVER a chance that I'll be at a costuming event with you, I'll make a version of Slaymaster so we can get some great pics.

Thanks guys....

*Dreaminspired - The helmet doesn't have a 'back' as such as it blends back into the rest of the costume.

I'm attaching it directly to the hood of the costume so i all flows back into the costume.

I had toyed with that idea...but it looked a little goofy when I tried it on the original sculpt.....

There are reference pics which indicate both styles (though the slight doming of the ears is more common)

I decided to go with flat in the end, though I might see about making some small shallow domes that could be attached, to give options......

Thanks guys....

wow mate, that is absolutely fantastic! can't wait to see the whole costume.
i found your pic online by accident and had to join the forum just to tell you how cool it is.
as its a mold, could you make another one? i'd love to buy one, just to have as a display, but either way, very nice work.
