Can't find Tony Stark's sunglasses from Iron Man 3

I want to wear light blue lenses like dita 006View attachment 1898240
Having asked the question regarding the Soloist lenses it would seem nobody has a sample to share so using the idea Sake suggested with the Dita lenses I did a little test myself.

I took a photo of my wife wearing my Dita and compared it to some good images of RDJ at the London premiere of IM3 and Sake is pretty bang on.

My Dita tint is very, very close at light blue 10% (that was the info i received from Jason at Initium back in the day ) so that's what I'll be sending to the lens team. They should look amazing once complete - I'm now in the nervous waiting for them to arrive stage from my friend Sake!

Any advice on keywords? Which app you ended up purchasing on? Is it a Google marketplace?
There's no shortcut. Search the common resellers manually, frequently. Do a big scan through and after that just sort the brand you're looking for by newest and look at the new items each day. Be a patient hunter. You are seeking elusive rare prey.

I found it after years of searching. It wasn't lost. I just happened to find two in a row. It's all thanks to my efforts over the years.
So humble.

It's maybe a result of translation app changes to what he originally wrote, which in Japanese wouldn't be boastful at all....長い間、ずっと探しましたので which would read as the same, but has no boasting tone in the Japanese, just the fact...(Equally, I don't know Sake, so don't even know if he's Japanese or using translation software at all...)

It only takes one toxic person to kill a forum like this - I've seen it on Martial arts forums over the years with keyboard warriors and paper tigers who seem unable to grasp the concept of respect and general kindness.

Schlegel can thank Sake for his Rayford and Canal, Ironman616 can thank him for his Rayford & I can thank him for my Rayford and Soloist 4!
I can't speak for them but I'm incredibly grateful for his efforts in finding them, contacting me and sending them to me - frames I really wanted that I'm well aware I would probably never have found by myself!

Sake is a long established and valued member of this group and if some things get lost in translation that's your problem, not his.

If you can't show some basic respect then maybe you should refrain from commenting

I use a translation app. Did it sound like I was bragging? Thanks to the seniors who analyzed Soloist 4, Naihanchi and I finally found it after about six years. New members are jealous of the seniors who have multiple Holy Grails, but the biggest benefit is that we can check the ID of the sunglasses thanks to the seniors on this thread, and the rest is individual effort. Press the like button on each member's post to build a good relationship, and if possible, exchange direct mail. I respect the very elegant senior UV400, and have tried to make this thread fun to read. I want to go back to the old days when everyone could think, imagine, and publish their research results. Everyone is looking for sunglasses, and everyone wants them. Please use direct mail for personal opinions.

Thank you my friend, our friendship has lasted for many years with the support of UV400.

Sounds like eBudo back in the day... ;)

Entirely agreed, and it's nice to find someone else who does budo here too...

Sake, 宜しくお願いします! Nice to meet you too mate, and don't worry, some people just have no understanding of heart and miss the subtleties...

I practiced Karate a solid 15 years and then had kids...life is busy.
Yeah? Cool! I moved to Japan to learn classical Japanese Jujutsu, ended up in Takenouchi Ryu, a school dating back to 1532, teaching sword and grappling in armour and unarmoured, and a variety of polearms and smaller weaponry too...It's great stuff...Lovely to find a group of fellow Budoka here too! I stopped training due to a neck hernia too..

Very impressive!

I practice and teach old ways Okinawan karate and am Godan.
I've also developed the Naihanchi Chinese Boxing system which considers the Historical roots of karate which are in China - the approach is not dissimilar to Wing Chun Boxing. All good fun (and brutally efficient lol)

And back to eyewear...

Can't wait for the Soloist to arrive. Tracking says it's been exported, I'm still waiting for it to be scanned into the UK.

To say I'm a bit anxious would be a massive understatement lol
