Can't find Tony Stark's sunglasses from Iron Man 3

RDJ wore some awesome frames during the Oppenheimer openings. I had to make a decision on which frames I'd choose to get immediately - I went for Paul Smith Fenton.

I love the crystal light blue frames and the lenses are stock which is always a bonus :)

I've been holding off on these, but they've grown on me so much, I think I'm going to have to take the plunge too!!

A while back, I previously debated buying the Stranger Things "Dustin" Thinking Cap, then came across this pic which sealed the deal...

Top tip ;)...the official merch version is the right cap with the correct font...(y)

Lot's of incorrect font versions out there that look like this...

A lot more than I'm used to paying, but just reluctantly parted with £150 for a pair of "new without tags" Kirk and Kirk Cecil in C9 jade...

I just keep reminding myself of the current RRP on the K&K website, which helps soothe the shock a bit.

When they arrive I'll post some pics.

apparently last night he borrowed hugh grant’s glasses from “the gentlemen”.

lenses should be available on the us rayban website but not here in italy, so I’m not sure what the name of that tint is. something “washed” anyway

Nice ID'ing man!! (y)

You're spot on gio and the stock lenses are washed pink...

These are actually rather nice with this colour lens, another pair to add to our must-haves!!

about the color, I’m not 100% sure that when worn, pink lenses would look like that, even though it may depend on the lights.

doing a little research on their italian website, I found this “amber” lenses for the meta/wayfarer version. a pair I’d never buy in my life, but just to give you an idea of the color. it looks like this is the only amber lens on the whole website at the moment, at least on wayfarers.

It's a hard one to call by just going from the product images where the colours can sometimes be a bit deceptive.

I'm sure Hugh Grant's pair didn't look like the pics below in the movie, If memory serves, they seemed a lot more orange/amber on screen.

I think you are right that the Meta amber lenses are closer to the RDJ lenses.

My first instinct was to use RDJ's suit colour as a clue to what he might try to match up in lens tone.

Here's a good comparison using product pics...

I guess both lenses could look a lot different in hand and also when worn, I'm going to see if I can find both pairs in a shop to try them out.

I suppose it still also needs to be on the table that RDJ's lenses might be custom and not stock Ray-Ban.

After just missing out by £1 on a £35.00 pair of oak havana/aqua lens Paul Smith Cortland today, because I was outside up a ladder putting up Xmas lights...

...The universe must have felt sorry for me and just 30 mins later, up popped an even better mega bargain £21.00 pair of PM8191S 1009/8H oak havana frame with the gradient dark violet lenses...:D

PS 2.jpg

I've been looking for a backup pair of oak havana for everyday wear.

When these arrive I'm putting in some very light blue customs as a much lighter lens variation of my oak havana frame 1009/65 with the stock aqua lenses.

The lenses on the back up pair will look along the lines of this...

In this pic, the movie lenses look a great deal lighter than the stock aqua...

That's some nice good fortune there :)

My lenses are really light blue. When worn they have a blue/grey appearance.

These look like the matt black Oliver Peoples Dbs with custom orange lenses again, despite the pic being slightly distorted.

The pic was most probably taken during shooting at Malibu beach of the "Long Strange Trip" VW Kombi Bus episode in S1:E6 of Downey's Dream Cars...

Speaking of Oliver Peoples DBS…two tone tort. I’m also waiting on an order of the Polaroid 6115 in green and yellow! And the correct color Oliver Peoples Jannssons. Anyway, all I need of the dbs collection now is matte black, Tokyo tort, and storm green (get okey doked on eBay for those).
