Hello!
I first want to say if this doesn't pertain to this website or sub forum please move it or delete it. The reason I'm asking this here is because this is the only website I'm part of that could possibly do this for me.

Alrighty, now with that said this is what I would like done. I'm modifying a Playstation Portable case and I need to have the trim part recasted. Here's a picture of what part and what I'm needing done to it:

Part:

What I need:

I would just cut/glue/bondo/sand it down but the trim is made out of some type of rubery plastic.

I need around 5 of these pieces done in the same type of rubery plastic. I can send you a frame piece, my mock up and whatever else you will need to complete this.

Also, down the line I'm going to need a casting of the other parts of the frame so I would like someone that could do muiltiple jobs of this type for me.

Lastly I will be paying threw PayPal.

Thank you for reading and plase PM me or just post here with any questions or letting me know you can do this for me.

For what it would cost to mold these up and cast them you could probably more cheaply/easily buy replacement cases off of ebay and use these pieces from the kits.

They would be injection molded plastic and likely less brittle than the equivalent cast parts in resin.

I have bought replacements, but the part is like a rubbery bendable plastic. I can't figure out how to cut them up and put them back together. Is there a sandable/rubbery/paintable "glue" I can use or you recommend?

Grrr.... let me think on this. I could swear the replacement case I've got to home has a plastic piece for the border. On the original PSP body I think this part is cast aluminum or some other alloy with some plastic pieces.

Glue depends on exactly what sort of plastic it is. If it is a rubbery flexible plastic, it could be one of "those" plastics that don't tend to take well to most glues/paints. Also the pieces are very thin and narrow so any repair likely won't stand any sort of stress.

When all else fails you might really be better off posting this on one of the hardware mod forums. Your likely to run into folsk who are doing/have done what youa re trying and may already have solutions to the problems your seeing or can offer better part sources. :thumbsup
