Can anyone identify this Stormtrooper Helmet?

To the naysayers, or people on the fence:

Ask yourself. Why would I lie?
I'm not in competition with him. I don't sell helmets. I don't have any vendetta with him (outside of this very issue). My helmets are not in danger of being outdone by anyone least of all by a scratch build as he claims, (unless someone else is able to mold another screen used anh helmet, even then best they could do is match mine).

Ask yourself. Why would the other people I mentioned in the RPF thread lie? You calling them liars as well? You don't respect their claims either?
Have you bothered to approach them off board and get their opinion straight up?
Would you post what they said if you did?

What about the people who are friendly with TM who are now saying to themselves, "I'll be damned he's right!" Would you listen to those people if they had the courage to speak up publicly, or would you call them full of crap too?

Hi there.
I have been follow TM fantastic progress, over the years.
And seen he´s molds, and suits/helmets gets more and more accurate.
I have a full TM suit/helmet, and a TE/TE2.
And the helmets, are not the same.
Its pretty easy to see.
And as far as i know, the TE/TE2 is 99,9% the same as the GINO helmet.
So if some one ask me, the TM helmet is 100% not a recast of any thing.
Its a fan made mold/sculpt helmet.

Thanks for your reply GINO.
I´m a happy man, i like every body.
So i just read, and try to learn.
I will try to add some TM vs. TE2 shots asap.

With some of the comments you've made, I'd say you have a long way to go.

It is interesting that you would think that people would want to know the truth of things, but when you present it to them, when it is shocking enough, their first reaction is to reject it.
Only after some time mulling it over in their head to they come to acceptance.

I find this ESPECIALLY true to those who have emotional or financial attachments to the item(s) in discussion. I mean, just look at the people posting in defense of TM.

It was like this with SDS back in the day.
I sure hope it doesn't take some of you that long to get up to speed on this current issue.

PS, anyone wishing for this to get locked up, you realize no one is forcing you to click on this thread.

Now, now there are still those that see SDS through his tinted spectacles...

Typical for those that can't argue their side or don't like the direction of the thread they simply whine for it to be locked... It's really simple don't read it if you don't like the direction it's taking...

For me I'm actually quite interested, I have considered the TM suit as I though it looked very good for a fan sculpt but now I'm more and more curious as to it's origins...

This seems to always be the case on both sides Gino, so I would caution it being tossed out there as I know it's been tossed your way regardless and irresponsibly to simply discredit one side like in the SDS debacle...

Please keep civil GINO.

Here you see the TE2 to the left, and TM to the right.

As I have the helmets in question I have just taken some comparison shots, initially to show how sharp the detail is on the TM vocoder compared to the others, but it does show all three have this bump:

The bottom one looks like paint chips. What did you paint this with?

Newbie Dewbie: "Hey, that looks like a stormtrooper helmet you got there. Did you all know they were painted white?? What do you mean there were hero and background trooper helmets used? I thought they were fiberglass??

Just my attempt at satire, but you get my point. Same as in the Vader ROTS thread.

Maybe you should just take a seat, sit back, be quiet, and learn sompin.

I meant what type of paint? Acrylic, enamel, lacquer, polyurethane! No need to be hateful,or snippy! I'm not trying to come off with a smartass know it all attitude! Just wondering how this effect was achieved. You'll never know if you don't ask questions!;)
