Come on Gino, we're on the Internet, noone knows anyone, so you can't judge anyone's integrity. My opinion is not solidified, I have no problems in admitting I'm wrong, I learn from my errors.

I'm not saying you edited pictures, because I have no proof, understand?

I don't know you, nor TM, nor anyone on this damn medium, the only things I trust are my eyes, my reason and objectivity.

I'm supporting intellectual honesty.
 
I don't have anything to really add here,but there are some really nice helmets that are shared here on the RPF! Ginos' point is(if I read all the posts so far)is that the quality of a persons' work, if it's a recast can be seen in small imperfections that most don't even know about,and some don't even care! The quality of how well it's done can vary from person to person. Some will like this about a helmet,and change it,so it makes it hard to know,unless you have the original item,or access to it,and familiarize themselves as he did! This is a LOT of work,if you don't know how much effort goes into it,and especially if you have to do all the leg work,and find the right connections that are in the know yourself!
 
No, it's about whether TM's helmet is sculpted from scratch as he claims, or if it is a recast.

For the informed, it's quite obvious that it was recast.

Without proof we are still not getting anywhere. If this has been trashed out before then i guess full photos have been posted before. If not then the same rule would apply then as it does now.

You didnt reply to my earlier post. I have a TM helmet that does not have this detail. You asked for people to give you their thoughts on this detail and i have.

What does "informed" mean?

You had a mole in his village? You paid his wife to spy on him?
Come on...

It's not Michelangelo's David, it's a small faceplate, you can replicate it from scratch if you have enough skill and years of time just like he said he did, i just think it's plausible.
Maybe he bought a TE helmet and copied it side-by-side, taking exact measures and tweaking day after day. Would that be recasting to you?
Would you blame him for that?

I have no proof, and I don't accept leaps of faith.

Again, there are paintings copiers so good that they can fool the original artist himself.

For some people, there is never enough tangible physical proof shy of the guy admitting it himself.
Even then I wonder if then some would say, are you sure about that?

The TM helmet that i own does not have this bump detail as seen is your alledged photo of a TM.

I am more than happy to take a close up picture tomoro during day light if you wish to see it for yourself.

I'm sure this person could take pictures of the helmet from else where to keep from being "outed" So fair everyone else that owns a TM says this detail is not there. So when was this TM helmet in the photo made?

What could the owner lose from you showing said helmet? I would think you would be a bit kinder to calling someone a recaster TE to this day says he never gave you permission to Cast his stuff. No one is head hunting you:angel
