it opens in a unique way, i'll try to find another pic...

you can see it in this video after the ad

she calls it her detective kit... i'm beginning to think it is a custom job
my daughter won't leave me alone about it... and she knows i seem to find props from movies on this rpf website...any clues?

Looks like a saddle bag design. Coach has a few that are CLOSE if you need some refrences to build from scratch. The inside looks custom, but the outside design looks like it was taken from a previous design like a saddle bag. :unsure

This bag seemed to have a hard shell and opened from the side, like a notebook binder.

i imagine it was some kind of military med kit? i'm hoping some nancy drew/ emma roberts prop fan stumbles across this thread and knows what bag it is.

From the looks of it, the way it opens and specialized contend holders I would say it's custom Made.
And the fact that it's made to match her cloths.;)

Pretty cool though (accept for the tacky material used inside) :lol

Looks like magnets are used to hold it closed.
Guess I'd have to watch the show to see it in use to be sure.

edit,
watched again full screen and noticed the top flap may have a snap but still don't see anything on the side.

It looks like it's a custom job based off of something that already exists. Most med kits are either a hard case box, like the old metal lunch box's or a soft sided bag kind of like the A-3 bags. Most of the kits I have seen, that AF meds use look like oversized Snoopy lunch pails. Even the older ones looks square, but never opened up like that.
