Call Me The Avenging Spider-Man

Hope no one minds the self proclaimed title I gave myself but I wanted to show of my custom Spider-Man suit that I had done. While I enjoy the classic red and blue, seeing my fellow RPFer's doing there suits. I wanted to separate myself from the pack so to speak by having an unused design done. @Iracel was a big inspiration for me wanting to get this suit done. I love his unique and original designs but I have no sewing skills, so I went to the next best thing! I asked orhadar (Gun Head Design) to help with the custom print. I also want to give a shout out to The RPC Studio's since they were the one's who printed the suit and sewed it together for me. I plan on puff painting the webs and possibly the honeycomb but that will have to wait awhile.

Also I believe in giving credit where credit is due. If anyone knows Leotyler (DeviantArt) I used his design that I came across...with a few small alterations of my own. I haven't been able to track him down so please send him my way if you do know him! Thanks for stopping by guys!

Well, look at this. I'm honored to have been your inspiration, and it most certainly wasn't in vain. This costume is really cool. In fact, I like that web design on the mask so much that I'm considering using it for my next spiderman costume. I can definitely answer questions. Kill em.

That web design is great, something I noticed on mine was there was suppose to be a missing section on web on the throat and I think the RPC accidentally sewed it up. I need to take some better pictures of the mask so you guys can see the webs better.

And I do have a question for you. Have you been free handing all your honeycomb designs? Unfortunatly they didn't show up on the black parts of the suit as much as I hoped and I would really appreciate any advice.

It's all 100%free hand. No patterns or anything. My freehanding is awesome just from practice. Freehanding all of your suits causes you to get better, naturally. So I'd say practice a lot on paper or something, if you're patient enough to not jump into the costume. :p

Looks like I need to start practicing then haha. Thanks for the advice! I do plan on doing the webs in silver..going to have to test that out as well. Just to make sure it will look okay. The webs defiantly need to be more dominate

You can (also) add your custom design to the thread "Marvel custom/redesign" ,started by Captain Rogers :cool he started it for people who wanted to do a spin-off on existing characters.Just a thought...

Here is a better shot of the mask, just so you can see the web design a little better. If I decide against puff painting the whole suit. I at least need to do the webs so they stick out more

very cool, can we see a better shot of the back of your suit? Like the spider design on the back A LOT!! looks totally wicked!!

Now THATS looking incredible. TJacks faceshell and lenses work wonders. If you can, you should move the center circle down inbetween the eyes.

Yeah I noticed that after I took the pic. I need to fix the eyes that were pre-cut. They are too far apart and I can barely see.

I love the design. I'm a sucker for dark colors on the Spidey suit. I would be honored if you posted it on the thread :)

Thanks for the shout out George, I appreciate it :)

Here are two more quick shots I took that I forgot to upload. I'm headed off to Amazing Arizona Comic Con next weekend so I'm hoping to get some more pictures taken. Does anyone have suggestions for me on putting a honeycomb template on the suit? The red part is fine but you can't see it at all on the black.

I think the web pattern is what's really grabbing it. Love how it looks streamlined and clean! Puff paint that ish!
