Buzz Lightyear Jet pack.

Hello,

This is my first time posting in the RPF and really the first time working with foam. I am doing a Mira Nova from Buzz Lightyears Adventures of Star Command. The costume will be primarily made out of eva foam, but I am only in the planning stages currently.

Her jetpack is basically the same as Buzz's but I am not sure how to actuate the wings. Pneumatics is very much so an option. I would optimally like them to move from the sides of the jet pack to full extension, and if I can really figure it out; I'd want it to happen when I press a button on the breast plate.

I am not sure how to do this so I thought this would be a good place to ask.

If you could help me, I would be very thankful.

Hello Corale,

Not that I had made anything like you mentioned, but what came to my mind was something like Assassin's Creed hidden blade gauntlet, that I'm sure there's lots of tutorial in the RPF with different building methods. Best of luck.
