My problem is I'm a blimmin perfectionist! And you just can't do perfect/weathered!! So I usually end up overdoing it. Lol.

A general rule I learned about weathering is that once you think you need just a little more, you need to stop. But in my opinion, I think your weathering looks perfect!

This is such a great tip! I read it and got so inspired I had another go with a second helm I had. New one on the right. I also didn't clear coat his one which actually dulled the first one (on the left)...




Much happier with this result. It has less silvering except for the big scar over his right eye, lol. Thanks for the input oh wise one. [emoji4][emoji106][emoji6]

Ha ha. Yeah been meaning to do this mod for ages, pretty old idea now. Saw a guy on eBay do these up and sell them for crazy money a year or so ago. Finally got around to doing something with them. Only took a couple hours, should have done it sooner! Lol.



Now if only I had a studio scale Aliens PL for him to gaze down on... [emoji6]
