Building the TIE Fighter

After building an X-Wing i am in the middle of building my ESB TIE. It is not the Hero Kit.
I am finished with the "ball" only the wings are left for clean-up and painting.

I was going after a certain TIE seen on many exhibitions. The markings should be right only the cokpit and cockpit windowframe could be a bit darker. Any suggestions ?

I changed the cockpit and frame to a slightly darker tone to match the original.

Here is a pic I took of the TIE at the Boston exhibit, if it helps..

That TIE can be a bit misleading - it's an Interceptor cockpit (black frame, absent laser canon ends, marking positions, etc.) with standard TIE wings.

Thanks I used Tamiya colors only this time. I mixed them to get the colors right.
My hull was solid. But that was no problem as the TIE that i tried to replicate only has that black felt in the cockpit (originally to hide the mounting pole and electronics).
As i only had the "regular" version and not the hero i choosed a standart TIE as pattern.
