Building the SS TIE Fighter

Does anyone know what happened to the TIE Build-up thread that was in the archives? I know it was more than a year ago when I last saw it there.

Just need to ID a few parts.

Looking to ID this "wheel base" and what looks like screw heads.

The part that looks like it has a screw head is from the Tamiya 1/12 Ferrari 312T.
I'm still stuck on the wheel shaped part. I'm guessing a wheel rim with a 6-bolt pattern?

As I recall it was from a racer kit and was a chromed part. I think the gun-cylinder thing in the middle was an add-on, though.

Is it me or does the spokes on that wheel base extend pass the rims? Or is that just another kit part added outside the rims?

Yeah, that's added u-channel.

The added pieces are gun barrels from a ship. the center wheel is from a 1/12 race car (it's the back side of the wheel) I have castings of the entire hub if you like, there are several kits used on the wing hub.

Heres a shot of the wing plug master pattern prior to molding and placment on the wing star.

Here is a shot of the wing star with the end cap in place castings.... the center plug is separte from the entire hub and wing star.
