building the Chris kelley darth vader tie advanced X1

I finally decided to show you one of my building " the darth vader X1 tie Advaced"
it's the studio scale kit extremely detailed , very accurate and the casting is very clean.

That's a nice kit !

It looks like some parts are exactly the same than the Nice-N TIE, the ceiling of the cockpit is the same part.

yes, but for example the canopy frame is slightly wider than the nice'n kit !

What about the diameter of the cockpit ball ?

between 12.8 and 13 cm
but i think it's not the correct dimension of the real cokpit ball !

Nice casting!! Is this in scale with the efx Tie?

yes it's exactely the same scale !

the first step that I chose are the wings!
these are relatively quick to finalize because they just need a good kitbashing
although theT tracks will be molded with the wings I chose to sandit and redo.
details as to clarify that the two wings are not the same!
oh ! I forgot! all the missing parts on the filming model are in the kit

ok I started the cockpit ball and I still have pre-paint the cockpit though I have a few missing pieces are to be added ! I will return later!
I then provisionally assembled wings to preview !
