Budget X-wing pilot?

Has anyone here done a budget X-wing pilot? I am on the rebellegion, but I was thinking about a group project so I would not need to adhere to the standards.
Orange jumpsuit, vest, chestbox, harness. Halloween quality

I know a couple people who would be interested. One in particular wants to do a Porkins costume.

I am thinking about group costumes for next year. This year we did hurt locker which had the desired effect at a crowded bar
I have done Nascar drivers, Armageddon, and I am thinking SW for next year. It's a crowd pleaser.
Ghost busters was the other idea, but I don't think you can do it well enough on the cheap.

True story. I've already got a Princess Leia planned, so it wouldn't be too out of the way to do for a group. However, I'll be checking in on this thread for my friends. Maybe we could crash.

It isn't. I've sold enough of them to know that, but it's still made of latex. Don't take care of it and you've got a ruined costume.

Besides, I wanted to do ANH Leia, with the white dress and hood.
