BTTF2 Pizza - Complete

Can I get in on the next run of the full sizes?:behave

Like the one in the photo or my proposed replica prop? Buy the time the real pizza ships to the US, it might taste a bit like the box :sick

I started my dehydrated pizza a few minutes ago....
making six, so if I mess up a few attempts, then I will have backups :)

fingers crossed.

Good luck with that. If you want to post your build in this thread, feel free to do so.

^no... This is your thread :lol
I already made the pizza dough... Just need to figure out the pepperoni and peppers. Not quite sure how I want to do that.

Did you make it to the size (3.5") Contec suggested or 2.75" like mine?

I just used bits of plastic for my topping and super-glued them on.

Once it is all painted up, no one will know what it was, but they will know what is meant to be.

I went with 3.5". I made a batch of salt dough, like we used to make crafts out of in grade school. I then shaped the dough, and baked it to harden it. I then beat up an egg and brushed it on the hardened pieces and baked it at 450 degrees for a bit to brown the dough. It gives it a very realistic pizza dough look and will not rot as it is salt dough :)

Do you intend to eat this or display it? Joking. Yeah, mum used to make salt dough when I was a kid and we would bake the things we made. Once done they were hard enough to play with until rough handling made them begin to crumble.

I am thinking that when I do the 15", I'll use MDF.

Really? How rough were you on them? I think she had the mixture wrong, cause the dough should be rock hard, and just as durable as sculpie or hard clay.

Sorry to resurrect an old-ish thread!,

I have just made one of the wrappers for the pizza- the pizza will come in time, and I have found an easy way to reproduce the shiny bag- which may be hard to find, of corse you can't print on it, however, you can fashion some THICK aluminum foil into a parcel shape - as shown in the screenused.com images, and, for the decal - using the high-res version, you can print it on waterslide decal paper (found cheap on ebay/amazon), which is easily applied to the shiny side of the foil- this leaves the surface looking as if it was printed on- without the almost impossible task of finding the special bags in your area.

Hey guys I've made the logo for my bag, and I'm trying to get the right material for the bag, so which one of the three of them do you think is the most accurate?

I have a little preference for the 1st one, what do you think?

Here is my logo, sorry for the tag, but I think I will make a run and try to sell some of them to a fair price (something like $10 or 15 each bag).
I might make some extra pizzas, I'll see ^^'

That is a good graphic. Does it print with the clear back ground? The one I made came out kind of silver/grey.
And yeah, cool to see my pizza on FB :)

Thanks :) it took me an entire evening to finish it. I've made it on illustrator. And saved it as a png. It's a vector :) that means theres no background.
i don't know if I posted how my pizzas looked lol. X) the idea is to make a bicolour stamp out of it or try a laser print, but I need your advice on which material to choose from the three of them in my previous post ^^

Looks great, Emma. Good luck with your sales. ;)

I hope you saved it in a very high resolution or still have your original AI file, because a PNG is not a vector graphic. It's a pixel graphic. "Vector" doesn't mean there's no background. It means the objects in the image consists of curves and lines and not pixels. :)

Yes Roland, I still have the illustrator file don't worry, I'm just saying I saved it as a png, in case the stamp company might not have illustrator. Not sure what is the best type of file to save as when it comes to hand it to someone else hehe.

Anyway, well, Roland, I've not heard from you for ages. I thought you drop the idea, and I really want the bag now xD! So I might try to give a shot and see what happens. I know you had some health problems from what I've heard, hope you're doing well x!

By the way, you should join our facebook page, it might be easier for communicating eventually :)

I think I like bags 1 and 3 (to my uneducated eye they look very similar).

Great job on the graphic.

Thanks a lot :)

Well the borders are different, and the third bag seems to be more shiny :)

But it's weird, in the movie the bag looks to be extremely shiny but on the screen used pictures of the bag, it does not seem to be this shiny ><
