BTTF Pt. II USA Today

Pretty much ruling out ever getting a gang jailed version, the curse of the poor collector. I do want to frame at some point. With every passing day, I swear I can hear my paper degrading in my closet! I found this video about DIY archiving newspaper. Is anyone familiar with the product "Archival Mist"? If so, is it effective or a necessary step. Just curious about it.

This is not a big business; it's one guy making these. Depending on your budget ($50 for the frame), I highly recommend buying from him. That framer does seem quite reasonable. I'll keep him in mind when I have both papers in hand :)

I'd be afraid to mist my newspaper with anything, but I don't know much about that. I think you're best bet is the archival storage box recommended by MattgomeryBurns. Only $11 on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0013Z9EBC?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00

I just checked and the one I got through the mail is larger than the ones I purchased in store as well.
 
Or you could ask your local historical society / library how they preserve newspapers, if they do so at all. Obviously keep them out of direct sunlight.
 
Ok so something weird (yet awesome) happened today. I ordered two copies of the BTTF2 USA Today from their website back on 10/21. I got them on 10/31. Well today, 11/10, I just got two copies again. Same order number and I have not been billed twice. These two new ones are slightly different from the first two. These new ones are missing both the Section E in the top right-corner and the date in the top-left corner as well as missing the "Our World - Pakistan" section (for those wondering, they appear to be identical in size). Now I guess the question is... which version will eventually be the most valuable/collectible.

Oops, I ordered on 10/21, not 10/22.

To be clear, the "Our World - Pakistan" section is a pull out section from the middle of the paper and has nothing to do with the BTTF2 content.

I have a lot of newspapers of all the runs from "DB537",
what did you guys do with them, did you frame them or.... ?

I would sure need a lot of record sleeves then:lol

I just checked and my "Gang Jailed" is the same size as the "Youth Jailed" that I ordered off the website. However, both are bigger than the newsstand copies of "Youth Jailed" that I was able to find.
 
Still haven't received the one I ordered from us today.com. I called them and they had no idea what to do or how to find out if it was shipped even though I told them I have a confirmation number that tells me it was shipped 10/22. They said they will forward the details of my call to someone else and hopefully it will get resolved. In reality I think they wanted me off the phone.

Speaking from experience, no one will ever follow up with you, unfortunately. I called four times and they always say they will forward my information to another department and someone will get back with me; and it never happens. I also sent an email to the email address provided on the website. It's been over 2 weeks and no response. The only thing to do is just hope it arrives eventually. If you still don't receive it, dispute the transaction with your credit card company. It worked for me.

Thanks for the idea, my order shows shipped on 10/22 and as of today I still have not receive my paper. I guess i'll save my time try to call them and dispute my order.
It shows on the website that they are taking order for the Youth Jailed paper again.. maybe try to order them again?!

i just called the USA today CSR.. apparently there is a glitch on the shipping date, so they didn't all get shipped on the 10/22. The lady told me to be patient as it was chaotic for them to ship all the bttf edition out. I was ask to call back if I don't receive mine by the of the week..

Thanks for the heads up! I needed one of the large ones to use for the inside of my Gang Jailed paper, and another complete one to form a matched set.
 
I'm still waiting on mine, it shows shipped on 10/27/2015, but I'm in Canada and assumed it might take 4 weeks which is still kinda crazy for this small a package, should be about 1-2 weeks.
 
My USA Todays arrived on Monday, I ordered 2, they shipped 3, which is good because since they were stuffed into an envelope, the first issue got crinkled :(
 
USA today for both sets (including "gang jail")are on eBay low price (but every time he sells one he seems to put the price up) take a look 272106998729 (item num) hope I'm ok posting this as I dont want to break any rules if so I'll edit my post (sorry) but the item is one I've already bought if you know what I mean, hope this helps
