BTTF: My paper replicas

Hi,

First post here. :confused

I was never satisfied with the letter from Marty that was around the net (and in this forum, as I can see). The writing was correctly distributed, but the handwriting was not the same as in the movie, so I decided to give it a shot myself. I did the Lou's Café logo from scratch, and took the writing directly from the film, to be sure it was the exact same thing and not something somebody else wrote.

Then again, the Blast From The Past ticket. The one that's free distributed is... let's say quite bad. The logo was totally redone, taking a pic of a real prop as reference, and also the text and the barcode was improved.

For the Biff's various replicas (not shown on film), I recreated them from (again) a pic of the real props, except for the bill. For this one I found out it was a classic bill used for lots of movies, only with Biff's face on it. I managed to buy an original classic bill, scanned it and added Biff's logo.

Welcome.

Very nicely done. Excellent props and I appreciate the explanation as to how these came about. Looking forward to more.

What other projects from these films might you be doing in the future?

Best,
DBCooper

Eventually may want to move this to the paper prop section.

Thanks for the feeback and the welcoming.

I didn't even notice there was a sub-forum specially for this (I just saw it), so I have no problem if an admin moves this post to that section (I don't think I can do it, or at least I don't now how).

As for future projects, I have some almost done, but they need to be printed on special materials that I don't have and don't know where to find. Examples:

* The Pizza Hut logo of the mini pizza envelope in BTTF2, redone from scratch since once again I wasn't too happy with the free version that everybody has. I wanted to recreate the envelope itself, but I have no clue what material to use or how to print on it.

* The Blast From The Past bag. Since I already have the logo from the ticket, it would be easy to use it for the bag, but... once again the material is hard to find and print.

I also wanted to recreate Marty's fading picture, but since there's an amazing version already in this forum I think I'll leave it for now.

:)
