The Pepsi Perfect is in a clear bottle, I think he was going for what could be made out of wood.

Ahhh...gotcha. I wonder how the clear ones could be made, all that comes to mind is clear resin and vacuforming...

Hi, I'm making my own bottles ( Just Pepsi Perfect / Orange Slice), and I had just wanted to ask you, what wood did you use?, for I have a lathe- yet no clue on what type of wood to use....

Poplar will probably be your best best. The origianl Vac Formed Pepsi Perfects had a pretty pronounced grain as did my Solid Wood Slice.

I need to finish the project thats been on my lathe for a few months (just need a bondo coat then sanding to final dims) then I want to get a 2015 bottle spinning.
