BTTF Futaba Delorean Remote Project

Very good job Mike ! :thumbsup

For making a new electronic board which fits inside the unibox, I need to have a unibox model 140.
I sent 2 e-mail at Unibox Standard Plastic Enclosures to buy some unibox but they don't reply. They probably don't ship to France.
Where could I buy the grey unibox model 140 besides uniboxinfo.com ? Thanks for the reply.

Digging up this "old" thread: is there a possibility for a run of kits to transform a futaba to a delorean remote?

I would be interested as well. Even without the electronics. I've had a remote that is half-finished for over a year. It doesn't have to work. I just want it to have accurate looking parts.

Hello-

I'm a radio control pilot who loves these radios for flying as much as you do for use as a prop. I notice during a lot of your builds that you remove the snap-in RF module from the rear of the transmitter, and I'm assuming you don't use it. I'm looking for these modules as well as the matching receiver that goes with them. I'm also looking for any of the accessories that you may have acquired from the purchase of your radios, such as the "tacho-senser", cables, neck strap, manual, etc. Please PM me if you have any of these items that you would consider parting with.

Thank you,

Doug Swanson

Is there anyone known who will convert a Futaba remote into a doc remote? If I wanted to send mine to them and they attach and install the parts? It doesnt need to be fully functional, just the believable lights ;) Thanks for any help!!

As far as I know the parts are not easily available. The STOP light, Number lights and even the box on the back are very hard to get. No one makes replicas anymore of these, so you would have to source those yourself.

Yes, I am finding that is the case. You know what would help would be a list of parts or part numbers in a spreadsheet/file so that I know exactly what to look for online.
