Well, last week I bought the T-cut (I'm from Italy). The polishing effect is nice, but the writing is damn resistant. I still haven't been able to get it off.Earlier in this thread is mention that T-cut will polish it right off.
I don't know where you're based, if UK then it is readily available. It is a light vehicle polishing compound. I have some and will be trying it soon.
Cheers. That looks brilliant. I'm just in the process of printing mine. Do you know what size bolts are required to secure the white lid to the black base?
Wickes is good for little packets of nuts and bolts, thats where I got mine from. Thanks! I'll see what I can pickup from my local B&Q today.
That would do it.Something like this? Fischer Threaded Rod M12 X 160mm 10 Pack | Wickes.co.uk
The white lid was just sanded smooth and I used Halfords white appliance spray paint. Same paint was used on the orange grinder to make it white.Only me again. What paint did you use for the white lid? Hammered again?
Mine was quite high on the black base so it had clearance to move, was almost loose. Thats why I embedded magnets, holds it steady in the "locked" position. All done. The only part I'm unsure on is the red latch. It secures fine onto the white lid but because the latch itself is secured to the black base, theres no way to move it up and release / open the lid
Looking awesome.Magnets did the trick! Thank you.
Would you mind letting me know what size screws / bolts you used to secure the Mr fusion to the white lid?Looking awesome.
Do you have a grinder?
Sorry, I completely missed this post.Would you mind letting me know what size screws / bolts you used to secure the Mr fusion to the white lid?
