BSG: Razor- The Knife

I've watched the 1.5 hour show twice now (which will premiere on Nov 24 @ 9PM on SciFi Channel). I've been looking for this knife (which is beat up and only sharp at the point) for 2 weeks, to no avail.

Anyone here know what make & model this is?
There are no words on it, only dents & scratches.

Any help would be appreciated by all BSG fans, I'm sure.

Heh heh heh heh. :D

I think that's a new RPF record from question asked to prop ID'd. :lol

Wonder how long it'll be before all the knife companies start selling out of that particular style...

SurferGeek: you have lived up to your name! (Surfer-part).
Certainly a record.

I don't know why I couldn't find it, but thanks very much!!!

The movie is really great; just can't wait to get extended DVD version.
The 1.5 hour TV version lists credits for actors & stuntpersons for those actors that don't appear in the TV version. DVD is to be released soon.

Gotta go get that knife now!(y)thumbsup:thumbsup

just ordered mine. I might not get to watch razor on saturday when it airs, but at least the dvd comes out in 2 weeks.

Thanks guys... :$

Wish I could take credit though. The discovery came from another board, just passing on the goodness here. :)

I see that a few here must have jumped on the knives I was watching on Ebay as they've already ended. Guess I should have bought before answering! :lol

Why would they use a Boker in that pattern when they could have used a more modern looking model?

"could have used a more modern looking knife"

I utterly fail to understand why you would say that. :lol

Well to be sure we do see "modern looking knives" all the time on the show... but this prop is supposed to be Admiral Cain's personal knife. She plays with it all the time, she refers to it specifically in dialogue, the knife apparently means a lot to her. So who knows, maybe it's an antique, like Joseph Adama's cigarette lighter (that prop was a lighter from the 1930s and didn't look modern at all).

I had no problem at all with the design of the knife.

Well, I just got an email from them saying that they expected them to be in stock within the next 1-2 weeks and would ship then. I'm in no hurry so that's fine for me.

I lost a bid on a used one on eBay about 1 week ago, and just placed my order from the Blade Shop. No notice of a back order in the email I received, or when I placed the order.
Now what knife is this?
