I don't think the pages were all printed- could have been as has been mentioned in other threads about books, but you could just put a ream of blank paper in there. Maybe Kinkos can cut the edges cheaply, en masse.

interested either way, even if you just offer the covers & plexi.

Oh and i made one of these today also,A cylon land mine. Think i should make a mold of this? Its alot bigger then it looks almost the size of a bottle of pop.

Can the TA-1 or TA-954 phones be made to work from a standard phone line?

From what I've been able to find online, the TA-954 has to connect to some sort of digital switching/data station to function. I've got a friend thats in the Navy as an ET and he's going to see what he can find out on them, but he told me most likely the thing would have to be gutted and a donor phone used inside. We're both thinking the trick will be to find a donor that the keypads are the same size/layout, otherwise the best bet is to rig it as an 'answer only' utilizing the built in handset speaker/mic and rigging a microswitch somehow to hangup the reciever.

I could handle an "answer only" configuration. Hell, all I want to do is pick it up and say "Andy Actual" after all...:lol
