You are only allowed to sell things in the JY. I'm guessing a mod deleted posts.

Fantastic thread. I worked up a pair of TA-1's a couple years back. I saw a link to my site a number of pages ago.

I think I paid about $30 for 2 phones off eBay. They both had damage to the bodies, but were easily repaired. The base unit was simply my imagination as I knew I wanted to hang it on my wall. Also, the bases on the CIC console were fabricated for the show. The phones are meant for field use and come in a hard, plastic case. It's interesting to note that even on the show they referred to them as sound-powered phones. I don't think they ever operated them as sound-powered phones would be used, but it was cool to see the mention.

Anyone elso notice a difference here? How easy do you rhink it would be to adjust the heat sinks?

pair of tin snips and a dremel tool to grind out the corners, add 2 small allen bolts . Also you may need to cut off some of the allen bolt to make it fit because you only have 1/4 inch clearance. If anyone has a problem maybe i will get a 10 lot and make some finished ones up proper.

Hi All,

My name is Scott Jones. I am new to the site. GREAT SITE! I have been working with Moffman on the BSG phone Decals. I just redid the phone decals on a Gerber Edge printer. They are very sharp now.

I don't have access to the Junkyard yet to list them.

I would definitely be interested in a finished one as I do not own a dremel or tin snips (I was going to ask a favor from some friends). I did already order a couple heatsinks from belleauwood, which I'll play around with. However, I would still be interested in a completed one, if but for the sake to see what more BSG magic you can perform MM! ;)

Well I guess I cant post in the Junkyard for 90 days and after 20 posts. So look for the "Battlestar Galactica Phone Decals" on Ebay. Let me know if you want more than one set and I can set you up.
