Nice video!
XTC is a very cool product.
I've also seen Smooth On's Gloworm mixed into it to make brush on glow in the dark pieces. Same premise as the aluminum powder.

You just have to be carefully when polishing not to create too much friction or the heat will melt away the coating. When I polish my cold cast pieces I use a polishing wheel, which gets too hot
