I'm not sure which forum this belongs in but since I made this as a form for helmets and other wearable items, "Costume Forum" it is.
My previous projects involving head gear were a complete pain to produce. I'd have to try it on to see how it fit and then take it off to make adjustments. The solution to this would be to work on a same size mannquin but as my melon is bigger than most standard forms, I'd have to my own.
Since it will be sitting around more time than actually being used, I decided to dress it up with some bronze metal paint and patina chemicals.
For tighter helmets and hoods, I made the ears removable, attached with magnets.
