Brisco County Jr Hat

I'm looking to reproduce the iconic hat worn by Brisco County Jr (Bruce Campbell). I remembering hearing, a few years ago, Bruce say it was a "Stetson Montana" in some interview or commentary, but I have not been able to find that clip again. Stetson does not currently make a "Montana", but who knows what they did back in 1993. There are "Montana style" hats that are somewhat reminiscent. I found something that looks similar by Miller Hats (available in chocolate brown):

But of course the details are not exact - no matching hat band, lanyard chin strap, or bound edge on the brim. Has anyone found a better match to Brisco's hat?

I should not have ordered the Miller Hats "Carson City" before checking other options. It is entirely too rigid and will have to be steamed before it fits right, and even then it will be terribly uncomfortable to wear. The hat we see in the TV series is soft and comfortable. I will have to check other options, and proceed with more caution.
