"Brazil" - "bypass valve on the transformer"

Has anyone created the "bypass valve on the transformer" from the movie "Brazil" or found behind-the-scenes photos of this prop? I am putting together a Central Services operative costume and want to also create the bypass valve. And no, I can't just blow one out my nostril! :) Hard to figure out all the parts as the object is not shown that well. I tried to find contact info for the prop masters - George Ball and Gary Dawson - but did not have any luck.

Anyone recognize any of these parts? I will likely start with a hanging pendant bulb socket. Aside from a coax connector and some alligator clips, I'm not sure what to do about the rest.

Sorry I can't be of any help but this is a great project to tackle. One of my favourite movies, look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Hard to tell from the image, but the main body looks like a light fitting, the kind you'd find in a bathroom, with a glass tube/shade sticking out, held in place by the two side screws. That removed - then add a disc of wood that can be held by the screws instead - the disc being the base for long bolts, or rods, going to the upper section, surrounding some kind of old valve, perhaps a car headlight bulb (I went into a Halfords [that's a car spares store if you're not in the UK] and asked for any old ones they had in the bin, as they change them all the time for clients, and they gave me a load for nothing) and top details, some random cable/tubes and what looks like part of one of those bendy inspection torches.
And of course, don't forget to fill out your 27B/6
