Bourne Identity Red Bag contents

I flattened the image out and based the measurements off the amex card and the cash, the tray appears to be about 14" long by 12" wide. The hardest part is going to be getting the curved end right.

p.s. just noticed the tray has a notch out of the side wall at either end.

edit: re checked after looking at kurtyboy's post, results matched 14x12 once I took into account the bend in both the box and the tray.

Great to see this thread moving again!

I've contacted my brother-in-law who owns a knife dealership to find out if he's ever seen that knife or knows where we might be able to get them.

I'll post if he finds anything.

Here are some of my pictures of the swiss wastebasket I bought at the same time as the bag. Now with MEASUREMENTS!

Holes in wastebasket are 1cm diameter, on 3cm centers from each other.
26 around perimeter, 10 holes high.

When I see this thread bumped to the top I know it's going to be a good read, when I see Adam's name on it it's icing on very good cake. You sir are a pimp! It's always so nice of you to share information from the originals you have.

Why is it when I look at the box I immediately think document or sample case? My father was an attorney and I've seen similar metal cases used by attorneys for protecting evidence in court cases. So I'm thinking we should look for a document case or a sample case before commissioning a run of cases.

After doing some number crunching, doing a run of stainless steel bins would be an expensive project. I'd have to do about 100 bins to make it worth doing, and the cost would be $150 (shipped to US/Europe) or $175 (shipped to Austalia/Asia/Russia). There would be good discounts for anyone interested in multiple bins ($210 for two or $275 for three). Shipping is the killer here.

Then let's get started!

Nope, the waste bin/trash can. After pricing those out... I'm scared to even start looking into the bank box!

Wow, glad I ran across this thread. Good stuff in here.

Indy- I may be interested in one of those bags in the near future.

@asavage which version of the safe deposit box are you thinking of making?
The one the usher pretends to unlock, that probably doesn't open (with the almost perfectly even bands) or the one bourne opens that couldn't be carried vertically (with the thinner silver bands and visible tubular lock inside)?

Some new additions. I think all I'm missing now are the passports which I am going to make myself... eventually. The ones pictured here are just real ones.
