Borderlands Psycho Mask

Hello everybody!

Second time posting. I posted the original sculpt for this mask in the sculpture forum, but somehow nobody was that interested in it. Now I am posting the finished mask. It is my first prop and I think it turned out kinda good. I hope you like it.

The pics were only taken with a mobilephone camera. It looks a bit more "dirty" in real.





Made a second version with red leds (obviously has to be done ) and started gathering the last parts for the "full" cosplay... orange work pants should do the job

Hey there. The view is pretty good. You hardly notive the leds. They are usual 5mm white leds, but they got a touch of blue to them. Love your work on the krieg axe so far!

You got any plans for other Borderlands bits? Maybe a Goliath helmet?

I actually have a pep file for a goliath helmet if you want it. It was extracted from the game by one of my mates and I unfolded it myself.

I have to admit that I'd love to see the pep file... maybe I will be doing the mask.... but I doubt it since Gearbox announced the new lootbox edition with a goliath mask replica in it... and it looks pretty good from what I saw

BTW, one of my friends has a copy of the diamond lootbox your on about and the mask is terrible, its just the front half with very minor detail with a peice of string attached, the chest cost $99 and that mask is worth $1. Its not worth the money.

Since I had plans to buy the box also I got curious and looked. It seems this is the final photoshop free poster of the loot.. The mask looks like poo to me and the string is clearly visible...

Already looked up photos.... really does not look that good. I'd make it just like the psycho mask... a mix of realism and comic look... BUT..

There is one thing that bugs me about that helmet.... you would waste a lot of silicone and plastic on the backside that just looks like a... well... bucket. And since I had some failures with my psycho mask I don't want to invest too much...
