Much maligned and often forgotten, Bonds firearm of chioce, the PPK was not, the Beretta 418 is one I would love to add to the collection.

Does anyone know of resin replica projects in the past or better still, know where to get a deactivated one or even better still, have one they would be willing to have someone cast a mold?

For the sole reason that Bond used one, I picked up a 418 years ago. I still have it
but never shoot it any more. It is interesting and easily carried. But, my not being
the expert that Bond is, I prefer something with a little more punch.

you can get a real one on gun auction sites like gunbroker.com. Just search under Beretta 418. In fact, that site has several on auction now.

Pretty sure MW is in Australia where these are prohibited. I've been meaning to add one to my collection for years, should get on that...

Spot on there and yes, you should get yourself one.:thumbsup

I have a special import permit for deactivated and resin/solid imitation firearms but Airsoft products are uncertain, my local Police are cool with it but its the Customs Dept that has the final say and its usually NO.

Just been reading this interesting thread and thought, maybe get one scratch-built. It will look and feel like the real the real gun, but it won't work. Do you want one that fires?
