Bobba Fett Q & A

Greetings fellow costume builders! I am happy to be here, surrounded by so many persons with a like interest... I decided to start this thread because firefek's Bobba Fett is the next project on my list of things to do. My very first pep was the Iron Man MK IV helmet... AWESOME! Now, I am working on firefek's hero_anh stormtrooper helmet, for my brother. I love that guy! But I got questions, and as much as I love Star Wars, and trust me- there aint many out there that love it more than me, I have not, till recently, needed to question all the little details. So, I shall start with my question and let you all have the floor. Bobba Fett's chest plate is several, individual pieces... so, how do they stay connected? It appears that the pieces are sewn into a shirt or other material. I just gotta know! How does it go together?!?

Myself I am debating on earth magnets, but I am leaning towards epoxying flat heat screws to the back side of my armor, then installing eylets in my vest in the corrisponding spots and cap nuts to hold it on.

I use snaps on my Jango Fett. Works for Boba also. I have also used the nut and bolt method and it works well.

Some people just use velcro. Magnets work too. But all the best Fett info is found on TDH.

Thank-you for the help... I did manage to find some info on the chest plates... what's underneath is like a flak vest, and then, like you said, most people trust the button method to attatch the plates. Thanks again! therpf rocks!!!
