In an effort to make room in my collection (okay my office), I have decided to let this piece go to a new home.
This was a Blaster Factory Aluminum EE-3 kit with a real wood stock and all of the bells and whistles.
This is obviously an idealized prop since the original ROTJ props were cast resin. I went to great lengths to match as much of the weathering on the screen-used hero prop as possible, but in areas where the original prop had silver paint for weathering, I exposed the actual metal. I used various painting techniques to match the look of the original prop, and I think I succeeded in the end. I'm very proud of how this turned out! Looking for $1,500.00 shipped in the USA only. Or best offer. Keep in mind, there are almost $1,400.00 in just parts here.
