It's so strange to me that he's a really blue, vulgar comedian. I heard his material well after Full House ended and I just couldn't believe it. I still have a hard time reconciling the fact.

Yeah, this is a shock for sure. I know he and Norm MacDonald were very close. So sad seeing another piece of my childhood pass away. RIP sir!

my brother just told me and i came on here to check, i cant believe it. but like PPP said, i always thought of him as Danny Saget from full house. my first shocking experience was his cameo in "half baked" thats when i learned about his stand up... really not my kind of thing, all the swearing and the subjects he chose to talk about.. i dont even think i finished that one stand up show of his..

That was my guess as well, among other things, but from I've read, there's no evidence of drugs. It's so early, it's probably too soon to say with any certainty.

Never watched any of his stand up but Ive heard of how he was.
I remember the Full House episode qhere he turned 30 and was having a complete fit over being that old...haha

I just saw this on the local news and the detectives said no sign of foul play or drug use.

I was also one of the people who knew him from Full House and AFV (I'm 44) so when I was old enough to watch his stand up I was surprised to say the least!

I watched his podcast where he talked about Norms death and you could tell it hurt him but it was great hearing stories I never heard before. I suspect this was a heart attack, but I guess time will tell. RIP Mr. Saget
