Anyone have any pics? I might have found a set, but need to be sure.

Kinda crappy pics, but what do you think?

Those arent the right ones, the bands are different on those.

Here's the difference.

What you're looking at.

What you want.

I think that if you're looking to put together a BR display with those shot glasses, you got nothing to be ashamed of!

They look great.

The best way to find these on Ebay...

Type "art deco glass" or "art deco shot glass".

You usually find something rather quickly using the above key phrases.

The photo Probe Droid posted is correct. Seven ribs on the vintage originals, and the bottom rib is not much higher than the bottom of the inside of the glass.

Several years ago, somebody started producing reproductions that you can get cheaply (relative to the originals) on auction sites like eBay and Yahoo! Japan. These glasses have eight ribs, and the bottom rib is set noticeably higher than the bottom of the inside of the glass.

Good luck in your quest, Tony! :thumbsup

If you watch the film carefully you may see the red ringed shot glass on the piano when Racheal is looking at the photos, and in a continuity error, when Deckard wakes up and spills his shot, he his holding the red ringed glass. Also if you look very carefully at some of the extras on the DVD set you can see which exact shot glass set dispenser was used on set. :)

BTW here is the propsummit link to more info on it...

Does anyone have screencaps of this famous red shot glass on the piano, and one of Deckard holding a red one when he wakes up ?

I have searched high and low on plenty of screencap sites with thousands of caps .... nada.

Thanks :thumbsup

Looks blue to me too.

To specify, they also say the red shot glass is seen in a 'continuity error' when he wakes up from his nap and spills the glass or something (while Rachel is in the house and she's checking on him I think).

I could not find any part of the movie where he spills the shot glass either.

This red shot glass is very elusive.

He spills some when he wakes up while Rachel is playing the piano. He knocks over the glass and catches it but it's off camera and the glass only shows for about five frames.

Thanks :thumbsup

Isn't there a cut scene included on the five disc set showing her trying to get the glass out of his sleeping hand???
