Blade spikes...

I was wondering if anyone has a wag as to the length/dimensions of the Blade spikes, first movie specifically. I am guessing they are roughly 10-11 inches long but not sure of dimensions. Any closeups of the spikes and leg (?) holder would be sweet. Thanks for any and all help thrown my way.

Hey there,

I own one of the four original sets of leg stakes and holster that Studio Art and Technology made for the movie (I purchased it off the Assistant Prop Master). I also own one of the larger stakes that went into his shoulder. People don't often realize they were two different stakes. The large ones were too big to wear in the leg holster, so the swapped them out in the closeups when they were in his hand. Which stake did you need measurements for? I also own Wesley's EDTA armband with two darts on it, as well as costumes and prop pieces from the last two movies.

The leg ones would be the way to go, that way when it comes time to make a leg holster they can be displayed. I guess as I think about it those used for closeups are something too big to be carried on your legs, especially times 3. Not sure about the darts...I would have to watch the movie again to jog the memory. Again thanks for the info.
