Blade Runner Snub Nose Blaster Project

Anber Grips

It took a little bit of fussing but the casting for the clear amber grips is underway. Except for trimming off the pour sprue on top, this is exactly how the castings come out of the mold. No surface polishing needed!

DaveG,
I've seen Blade Runner once (I know, punch my face). But since I've found your AWESOME thread, I've watched it several times. You have so much skill and talent and this thread was a perfect place to showcase that! I even learned a thing or two for my future prop building jobs. I'm in awe, simply put. Amazing job...and yes, I want one! Best of luck to you!

not only does he make one of the cleanest, sharpest, coolest, (fill in adjective here) etc. props of all time, his photography skills are also outstanding!
ALL HAIL DAVE! ALL HAIL DAVE!

Amazing work there Dave wouldn't it be cool if this design could be used for the new "Blade Runner" movie.

I am impressed by your work and also impressed with how technical that you solicited. For the upper parts, it's of stereolithography or sintering of powder?
