First i have to say that this propsummit Kit is not for peoble without any experience with prop building .

While building i had some situations where you have to find a way for yourself to get furhter but all in all its an awesome kit and i was surprised how easy it is to work with pewter .

Also the wiring is always some kind of tricky but with some elbow grease i finally soldered all wires on the right places ^^

The presanded kit

For the weathering i tryed to get an close look to the worldcon version but never wanted to get the exact copy of an worldcon ( not skilled enought ^^ )

I did all the pewter weathering with aluminium black . Quick apply and then fast wipe off .
Repeated it a few times to get an nice used look .

So thats it guys , hope you like it ;-)
Thanks for watching !

It's ok from three feet, but closer inspection reveals it's a bit ropey. Also, the fact that it makes sounds is a bit lame. The background looks nice but has no connection to brade runna. I saw a wall mount that was a copy of one of the wall tiles from Deckards apartment. I appreciate the amount of work you've put into this, but I think most of it was misdirected.

Very Nice!!! Hey, quick question if you don't mind...how did you get the grips no nice and dark amber colored??? I have a kit I'm working on right now...it is a serious model and not for anyone who doesn't have a good set of tools!?!...and the grips are kind of a light amber ?! I would like them to look more like yours ended up looking? Any tips would be greatly appreciated... thanks! Cheers!

That and the fact that the grips that come with Rich's kit are darker than on some others. The originals were the same darker amber.

His grips are the right color, i just wanted to see how he got his that nice dark color!?! I have parts for Six blasters from Rich but I am doing my own run of blank firing versions of it...unfortunately, they won't be built on a Bulldog frame...they will be built on .357's due yo the fact NO ONE makes a blank firing version of a .44 Bulldog. That will be another thread though.

Wow! That's impressive! I really like the display as well. It has a very nice feel to it. Did you make the name plate as well, or did that come in the kit?
