First i have to say that this propsummit Kit is not for peoble without any experience with prop building .

While building i had some situations where you have to find a way for yourself to get furhter but all in all its an awesome kit and i was surprised how easy it is to work with pewter .

Also the wiring is always some kind of tricky but with some elbow grease i finally soldered all wires on the right places ^^

For the weathering i tryed to get an close look to the worldcon version but never wanted to get the exact copy of an worldcon ( not skilled enought ^^ )

I did all the pewter weathering with aluminium black . Quick apply and then fast wipe off .
Repeated it a few times to get an nice used look .

So thats it guys , hope you like it ;-)
Thanks for watching !

Very nice build. I love the display as well. I don't think it distracts from the gun at all. I think it fits the Bladerunner Aesthetic perfectly and is a refreshing change from the usual clear lexan type stands.

+1 I love it. :)

bravo!

one of the absolute SWEETEST displays I have ever seen...and I've seen plenty.

also, nice work on the kit. a friend of mine has built two of Richard's kits, and I can tell you, they are a challenge. not knocking Richard...the blaster looks fantastic, but I know you used a lot of elbow grease to get her done.

is that the DVD lenticular lens thingy in corner of your display? nice touch.

Thanks guys ! I really appreciate that :)

I was searching for some black plexiglas in the hardware store for the display and my girlfeind showed me that glasslab and the idea popped up in my head ^^
It has that Blade Runner style you find very hard today . I can´t thank her enought for that great find !
But dont ask me how much one of that slabs cost + the work on the holes and covers in the glas shop .
It's good value !

Yeah you are right :lol I bought the DVD very cheap here in an local store , in fact i have the DC on BlueRay , and as i saw that lenticular lens it was clear for me that this has to go on the dislay as well .

You are the first one who is asking for that :cool on propsummit nobody noticed that in fact 80 % have the DVD collection for sure ^^
Good eye ;)

The wall mount is pretty nice. But I agree with mic. It's a little busy. Though the business may not be so distracting if the pattern could be in the tile design. But, overall I dig it and the blaster looks great!
